Privacy

Short version

This site is public articles and small tools. There is no registration and no login, so we hold no name, email address or phone number of yours. It does, however, run Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to count visits, and GA4 may set analytics cookies in your browser — which is not what this page used to say. The change is logged on the corrections page.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page views and traffic sources. Page addresses and technical details about your browser and device are sent to Google, and analytics cookies may be set in your browser. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, exchange account details, or anything you typed into a tool page — tool input is still handled only in your own browser. To switch it off: restrict cookies in your browser settings, or block analytics scripts with an extension. The articles and the tools keep working either way. What we do not collect

• There is no registration, login or account system, so there are no names, email addresses or phone numbers.
• There are no advertisements, and no ad-tracking or retargeting tags. GA4, described above, is the only analytics on the site.
• Anything you type or tick on a tool page stays in your browser. We do not collect it and do not store it; refreshing clears it. Four of the five tools work fully offline — only the volatility gauge needs a connection, and all it asks for is prices for the coin you picked. Details under "Two other outside services" below.

What any website visit leaves behind

To get pages to you, the server that hosts this site and the network service that speeds it up keep visit records, as almost every website does: an IP address, the time, which page was opened and what browser was used. The providers keep those records under their own rules, to keep the site running and fend off attacks; we do not use them to work out who you are or to personalise anything.

Two other outside services

Besides GA4 above, the pages use two things that are not provided by us:

• Fonts — the fonts on every page come from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser downloads them from Google, and like anything you do online, that carries your IP address and browser type. Google handles those details, not us, and we never see them.
• Binance's public prices — only the volatility gauge reads prices when it opens, and only for the coin you picked (Bitcoin against USDT, for example). It needs no account and we attach nothing that identifies you; but as above, that step still carries the usual IP address and browser type. No other page reads prices.

Once you follow an external link, you are covered by that site's privacy policy rather than anything here.

Your rights

We hold no account or contact data of our own, so there is usually nothing here to access, correct or delete. The GA4 side of it sits with Google: you can clear the analytics cookies in your browser at any time, or block the script so it stops collecting. If you believe this site holds information relating to you, raise it through the contact page and we will look into it.

Children

This site is intended for adults, is not directed at minors, and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we introduce anything that changes the above, this page will be updated and the change recorded on the corrections page.
