Why these twelve questions
The problem it solves
"Am I ready" is too vague to answer. Split into twelve statements that are either true or false, it becomes obvious which part is missing.
The four areas
- Money — whether this amount is genuinely losable. Nothing else matters until this one is true.
- Understanding — the handful of concepts that directly cause operational accidents.
- Security habits — the account layer, which matters far more than reading the market.
- Process familiarity — whether money can complete a full round trip.
Why there is nothing about whether you will make money
Because nobody can answer that, including us. This tool only covers things that can be confirmed, and takes no view on the market.
Does a low score mean I cannot start
No. It gives you a priority order, not permission. A low score means you are more likely to get stuck or caught out somewhere, but whether to act is yours to decide. If you do, keep the amount very small — see how much to put into the first trade.
Where the data goes
Nowhere. The calculation happens in your browser, the page issues no requests, and a refresh clears it.
